Hope served his articles with the firm Maluleke Msimang and Associates in Pretoria, specialising in High Court and Magistrate Court Litigation. He had a stint in the Public Sector where he worked for the then Department of Finance and Economic Affairs as a Trade and Industry Advisor. Hope joined GLM as an Associate in 2006 practising in the firm’s Personal Injury Law Department doing both High Court and Magistrate Court Litigation with a special interest in trial advocacy. He currently practices in the firm’s Employment Law Department where he advises clients on all aspects of Employment Law including but not limited to unfair dismissal disputes, unfair labour practice disputes, restructuring, discrimination at the workplace, harassments and collective bargaining issues. Hope also acts as Chairperson of Disciplinary Inquiries for an array of Corporate and Statutory Bodies.
