Wim attained his BA (Law) and LLB degrees at the University of North West during 1995 and 1997 respectively and was awarded an exchange bursary to complete part of his LLB at the University of Leuven in Belgium. He completed an LLM in Commercial Law during 2000 at the University of South Africa. During 2008, he completed a Certificate Programme in Compliance and Regulatory Management at the University of Johannesburg. Wim joined GLM in 1998 as Candidate Attorney. He was admitted as an Attorney in February 2000. Wim moved through the ranks within GLM and was appointed as Director during 2004 in the Commercial Litigation and Administrative Law Department of the firm. Wim deals with specialised commercial and professional indemnity disputes, provides advice on the interpretation of contracts and also offers advisory services on compliance relating to interpretation of legislation.
