Sunelle graduated from the University of North West where she also took part in an exchange programme with the Catholic University Leuven, Belgium. She joined GLM in 2001 as Candidate Attorney and, after completing her articles, was appointed as Associate in July 2002. In January 2007 Sunelle was appointed as a Director in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Administrative Law Department. In 2007 she attained her LLM degree specialising in Law of Contract and Insurance. Her practice focuses on High Court Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution as well as advice on liability relating to commercial disputes including Insolvency and Business Rescue, Building and Construction Law disputes, as well as Personal Injury and Professional Negligence claims. She has been involved in various matters for corporate entities such as Glenrand, University of Pretoria, Stalker Hutchison Admiral, Landbank, Natsure, Sanlam, Sasol and the Road Accident Fund. Sunelle is also involved in various pro bono matters on behalf of individuals as well as Non-profit Organizations, which pro bono work mainly focuses on Enterprise Development.
