After completing his B.Proc degree in 1994 Madimpe was employed by the State Attorney’s office in Johannesburg as a Candidate Attorney in the Civil Litigation Department. During 1996 he joined the Insurance Industry and worked at Commercial Union and Sentraboer, with a short stay at the Road Accident Fund. In May 1998 Madimpe decided to go into practice full-time. He practiced as an Associate at the law firm Maluleke, Msimang & Associates in Pretoria and became a Partner in 2002. During this time he rendered services to individual clients, including well known politicians, as well as to large commercial entities such as Telkom, SARCC, IDC, Tshwane Municipality, Department of Land Affairs, and Sasol. Madimpe joined GLM in 2005 as a Director and has mainly been practicing in the Personal Injury Law Department, which department he currently heads. He also makes a significant contribution to the management of the firm as a member of our Executive Committee. Madimpe is involved in the organized profession as a Special Examiner for the Law Society of the Northern Provinces and as a member of Black Lawyers Association for the past ten years.
